The olive fruits used for the preparation of the Organic Εxtra Virgin Olive Oil PGI Lakonia, are collected from small organic farmers in the wider region of Peloponnese. They are cultivated and harvested with traditional and sustainable methods, and then are selectively handpicked.

Uniqueness/ Differentiation
The differentiation of Organic Extra-Virgin Olive oil lies on the way the olives have grown, harvested, and collected. Our approach is to cooperate with a selected network of local organic farmers, whom we know personally. This secures that the product is treated with personal care, without the use of any chemical fertilizers, and pesticides, maintaining its naturalness, healthy qualities, and unique taste. The procedure that these farmers follow is to harvest sustainably their organic olive groves when the fruit is still unripe and on its peak of its antioxidant properties, in order to receive the most unique extract.

Our locality and small-scale farming provides us the privilege to be certified for our organic agriculture by many different international standards (Bio-Suisse, JAS, EU-Organic). Organic production contributes to the development of rural areas and to the quality upgradation of our product.

We produce our extra virgin olive oil in our factory with respect to the environment, in order to protect our natural resources, animal welfare and biodiversity.

Our organic olive oil has a dark green color, fresh and grassy aroma, mild fruity taste, with spicy tones. This type of Olive Oil is coming mostly from Koroneiki and Athinolia varieties, which give the finest olive oil compared to other varieties.
